“Texas Republican Congressman Louie Gohmert told federal judges who’ve ruled in favor of same-sex marriage to get “some basic plumbing lessons.”

During an event titled “Conversations with Conservatives” hosted by the Heritage Foundation Wednesday, Rep. Gohmert was asked about the federal judge’s ruling that struck down Oklahoma’s ban on same-sex nuptials, declaring it unconstitutional.

Gohmert characterized rulings that allow marriage equality as: “Basically, we haven’t seen any biological evidence to support marriage being between a man and a woman,” Roll Call reported.
