A new year of sci-fi movies is on its way! What do we have to look forward to? Well, GODZILLA, for one, is coming back from director Gareth Edwards, with a focus on the terror caused by Godzilla and a return to the monster’s original design. It stars Elizabeth Olsen, Bryan Cranston, Ken Watanabe, and more. Another blockbuster should come in the form of X-Men: Days of Future Past, marking Bryan Singer’s return to the series. The trailer looks fantastic, but will it be a great movie? The movie boasts a great cast including Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Halle Berry, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Peter Dinklage, Patrick Stewart, and Ian McKellen. Lastly, a movie with a very mysterious premise, but promising nonetheless: Johnny Depp and Morgan Freeman lead the cast of Transcendence, from Christopher Nolan cinematographer Wally Pfister. Depp plays a computer scientist focusing on the singularity.
