After many demonstrations following the Zimmerman acquittal for the repeal of stand your ground laws, a panel of Florida lawmakers have decided to consider repealing the law. After the consideration the panel decided not to go forward with a repeal. They will, however, now consider expanding the law. Really!? Following a fight with his father over smoking cigarettes, 19 year old Tyler Comstock stole his father’s car and was shot and killed by police during a chase that ensued after the father alerted authorities.
