She explains to Jordan why she supports Bernie and why he is the best candidate for the presidency. However, CNN also interviewed Miss Sarandon and they had a very different tone with her. “Actress Susan Sarandon, who has endorsed Bernie Sanders for president, said Thursday that Donald Trump is “like the stand up guy at the wedding who gets drunk and just goes on and on and on.”

Appearing on “CNN Newsroom With Carol Costello,” Sarandon says that Trump taps into “the most base hate, racist stream that’s going through this country.”

Costello asked Sarandon, “I’m just going to ask one question about Donald Trump because he’s says he’s a job creator. And he says he can get things done, and he says he can take care of income inequality. Do you believe him?”
