Turkish soccer fans are gaining a lot of attention for not staying quiet during a moment of silence at the beginning of a match with Greece. Fans chanted and booed during the somber occasion. “Before today’s Greece vs. Turkey friendly match in Istanbul both teams shared a moment of silence to honor the victims of the Paris attacks. UEFA, Europe’s governing soccer body, requested that all European international games hold a minute of silence before the start of their matches and wear black armbands.

Many fans in the stands in Instanbul, however, decided to boo and wave flags during the minute. The booing can be heard in this video:”
