California will raise the minimum wage from $8 to $10 by 2016. How will this affect the economy both in the state and in the rest of the country? California business lobbyists are fearful about entrepreneurs’ ability to start new businiesses. Recent studies and the health of businesses in California and elsewhere which already pay $10/hr don’t support this fear.
