Another Planned Parenthood Sting Video That Exposes NOTHING

In The Young Turks on YouTube by Hlarson1 Comment

“The group behind last week’s undercover Planned Parenthood video is out with a new release showing a different executive talking about the acceptable cost of handling a fetal tissue sample.

The video features Mary Gatter, who is president of the group’s medical director council, engaging in a conversation with the Center for Medical Progress’ actors, who posed as representatives of a firm that handles fetal tissue donations.

“Let me just figure out what others are getting,” the woman tells the actors, according to the Center for Medical Progress, “and if this is in the ballpark, then it’s fine; if it’s still low, then we can bump it up. I want a Lamborghini,” she says, immediately indicating that she was joking.” *

  1. I agree that the hysteria over this is unwarranted, and that the whole “profit” thing has been misrepresented. The whole “I want a Lamborghini” thing is a bit shady, but it seems like that was just a joke.

The main problem here isn’t necessarily what’s going on, but rather the attitudes of the people involved and the basis for the entire operation, which in my opinion is undoubtedly murder.

Gatta speaks as though she’s talking about the distribution of auto parts, not human organs and tissue. What she is, is a clear representation of the pro-choice mindset that sees no value in the lives of unborn children, which is what makes these videos so offensive.

What’s more is that fetal tissue research isn’t even useful – if anyone would like to refute that, go ahead, but I encourage those who don’t know this to research it themselves.

It all goes back to the main issue here, though, which is abortion in the first place. It isn’t as though women don’t have choices already; one can choose using protection, abstaining from sex, or *gasp* adoption. But abortion is easier, and is therefore another purely selfish act in an extraordinarily long list of selfish human acts. Really sad.
