Marvel’s Daredevil on Netflix, season one, episode 13 (Season finale) is reviewed. Matt Murdock fully takes on the Daredevil mantle. The episode opens with Ben’s funeral, where Matt and Karen mourn and realize the weight of what has been lost and what is still at stake. Fisk learned Owlsley co-conspired to kill Vanessa and soundly murders him, despite knowing Owlsley’s backup plan. Foggy reminds Matt that he has vowed to uphold the law and must use that to bring down Fisk, and shockingly, it works. Fisk delivers another epic, mounting speech with the revelation with who he truly is, culminating in a bloody, well-designed escape. Can Matt bring justice to Hell’s Kitchen? Is there any way to really beat Kingpin?
