Styleogue takes to the streets of New York City to check out the street fashions and ask girls – ‘what is your personal style?’ And, most importantly: ‘what are you wearing?’
As it turns out, the women of Fifth Avenue in downtown Manhattan love a diverse range of styles – from rocker to classic to boho chic.
Erin Gabriella, Founder, of Onb2bushwick Eco-vintage Bridal Boutique said that fashion was a way to express herself. She described her personal style as hugely eclectic, and drew on hip hop and boho influences.
Jennifer from Bergdorf Goodman’s Chanel department said that she loved to collect pieces that could transition through day and night and be worn in different seasons.
Celeste from Washington DC described her look as laid-back, comfortable and ‘chill’. She loves thrift shopping and was obsessed with her high-heel sneakers, which gave her an extra ‘lift’. Carolina from Brazil loved Forever 21 fashions and H&M, and described her own fashion sense as a mix between boho and rocker
