Stephen A. Smith, a host on ESPN, had a few ideas about party politics and chose to share them during a recent speech. He wished every black American would vote Republican in the upcoming 2016 election. His reasoning is that black Americans as a demographic has mostly voted Democrat in the past and he would like to send a message to both parties that neither could always count on the votes as they had in the past. He feels it is time that blacks stop feeling disenfranchised by politicians and took charge of what was happening in politics.

Some are seeing this as another symptom of Smith being a closet Republican that really just wants to see his party win an election every now and then.”
