UK Publisher Bans Pork References to Avoid Offending Muslims

UK publisher the Oxford University Press has prohibited schoolbook authors from writing about sausages, pigs, or any other pork-related material for fear of offending Muslims and Jews. The OUP has defended the ban saying that they need to consider a range of cultural differences and sensitivities given the wide audience that their published materials reach. The ban has sparked outrage from authors and critics who believe that the publishing rules are nonsensical political correctness. We take a look at the ban, in this Lip News clip with Elliot Hill and Mark Sovel.
