What would life be like as an asexual? With today’s sexualized media and culture, it can be hard to imagine how individuals who identify as asexual interpret and cope with the extremely sex-centric world around them.

I am asexual. I have been in a relationship for almost five years. We kiss, cuddle, hug, lay on the sofa together, pretty much everything any other couples, except we do not have sex. The thing that bothers me the most, i when someone finds out and doesn’t understand it. They ask how I could ever be fully happy without sex and how could I love my partner, but not have sex with him. I’m very happy, happier than I ever was when I was alone.
