  1. KICK ASS!!! This is the third RH interview of progressive Colorado candidates (Joe Salazar, Emily Sirota, and now Bernie Douthit)! I live in Denver, Colorado and was a delegate to the state assembly on April 14, 2018, where I voted for both Joe and Bernie (and my husband and I were both on the stage during their speeches)! In fact, my husband just had coffee with Bernie this afternoon, which is where I learned he was on RH (I have fallen a day or two behind on watching the videos, due to work)! I was also a delegate to the Denver County assembly, but not in Emily’s district, but I know her and would have given her my vote if I could!

There are so many good progressive candidates running for office in Colorado, and we got almost all of them on the primary ballots here, but it is going to be an uphill battle against the establishment candidates. Like California, we also have a congressional race in a VERY safe democratic district (CD 1 – incumbent Diana Degette) where the progressive grassroots movement has had enough and want a real progressive to actually represent them, and we have had a small victory in getting a real progressive to run (SAIRA RAO, who has now made the ballot through both petition and assembly)!!!

    Stay strong…too strong!!!

  2. Thank you for interviewing Abdul El-Sayed. I was actually planning on voting for the other guy you were talking about. I think I may volunteer for him.
