I’m an optimist so here goes… Could it be that she wanted to keep him on to advise her for how to work her equipment? Or perhaps as a password keeper? So she would dial him up if she needed to know how to open PowerPoint (as a basic example) or forgot one of her passwords. So maybe she’s just that technically illiterate. Both arguments are reaching but if there was an explanation that somewhat made sense…. It could be that she’s just that dumb.
Jordan there are strictly consulting roles in IT, however there is also the possibility that DWS embroiled in so many other scandals all the time just wasn’t paying attention to the books and some clerk was just doling out checks to people that were never eliminated from the books, you seen how wasteful and incompetent the government can be in general. So I think an investigation will be needed, my bigger concern in all this is where did the data go that was moved off to off site servers and what was on the missing equipment and who now has possession of that as well.
