Figueredo is an activist and political scientist. He has previously worked with the Human Rights Campaign to defeat “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” and with Wolf-PAC to pass a constitutional amendment to overturn the Citizens United decision. He has earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in political science and is currently studying for his Ph.D. in public policy. Figueredo was previously a political science research assistant in U.S. and North African politics.
