The republican debates can be looked at as the following. Let’s say you have a math problem and invite anyone on stage who can answer it and the 17 people first in line are mentally challenged. What happens next is the people running the contest asking themselves which one of the contestants gave the best effort. This is an analogy of the republican analysis of the debates.
