Bill O’Reilly On Black Lives Matter: “It’s Like The Ku Klux Klan”

Recently Bill O’Reilly was speaking about the Black Lives Matter movement. During his rant against it he mentioned how Black Lives Matter individuals have been threatening the lives of police officers. He then pontificated on the similarities between BLM and the KKK. Cenk Uygur and Ana Kasparian (The Point), hosts of the The Young Turks, break it down. Tell us what you think in the comment section below.

“O’REILLY: But that’s the Black Lives Matter movement.

WILLIAMS: That’s an outlier segment, though Bill. To assign that — no I’ve talked to leadership as well.

O’REILLY: And let me tell you why you’re desperately wrong here, Eboni. Because they could have, the leadership of Black Lives Matter could have repudiated those things, and they did not, alright? So that’s where you’re wrong.

[…]

O’REILLY: If the movement doesn’t repudiate, it’s like the Ku Klux Klan, alright? You know, are all Klansman going to hang blacks? No. But they’re all in the same soup bowl, alright? Because they don’t divorce themselves from the group who did do those things.”*

  1. Bill O’Reilly is a slicker Rush Limbaugh, they both denigrate black Americans who seek justice but O’Reilly’s surreptitious right wing rhetoric remains under the bar of outrageousness that warrants dismissal . O’Reilly appeals to his all white viewers who like hearing black efforts to raise injustice issues be pseudo intellectually disparaged. That is his niche and he does it well with no questioning from FOX news.
