“O’Reilly told this to analyst Kirsten Powers this week when she called him out on the conservative belief that the poor (including the working poor) are simply looking for handouts – or as O’Reilly and other lapdogs of the 1% call it, “free stuff.” Powers accuratelypointed out that:
What you call ‘free stuff’ and what Jeb Bush calls ‘free stuff’ that actually are necessities in life [sic]. So the problem with when he said ‘free stuff’ is that he’s talking about children getting food. He’s talking about people who – a lot of the people who receive welfare, even the adults are working poor. They’re people who have jobs. But they don’t have enough money to get food.”*

Put me on that assholes show! He is a puppet who does and says what it is supposed to. I am not on any form of government assistance; however, I have 6 children, 4 chickens, 2 cats, and 1 dog. At times I wish I qualified for assistance.
My home is exactly what my wife and i wanted; happy. I earn a decent salary, better than average; enough to provide my wife with the ability to chose to be a stay at home mom. We decided to tighten our belts a long time ago in order to support her decision to provide this luxury for our children. Unfortunately, in my opinion, a mother having the choice to be home to raise her children is a luxury in the US of mother fucking A. Shortly after we were married we established and have maintained a budget which provides us with some comfort items; but for the most part, it helps us live within our means. I currently live in California, our mortgage is less than 1/3 my net income, our home is the only financial obligation we have. Dude… we are lucky to make it through a pay period (2 weeks). We struggle to keep 3 meals on the table everyday. I got it… yes… I have six children. Not the fucking point. Financially responsible, upper middle-class family… as common as your next door neighbor… broke hours after every paycheck. If I am being nickle and dime’d to death what is happening to everyone else? Especially families that require assistance. Billy needs to bitch about their TV’s to the banks that set many of them up for failure. They exploited those who made less by providing them with credit limits that far exceeded their current and potential standard of living. We don’t chose our debt to income ratio, the bank decides that for us. Right, wrong or indifferent; societal pressure and this government encourage lifestyles only obtainable through DEBT, it needs us to be buried by debt! Economic Apartheid… engineered slavery at its finest; It may sound ridiculous but for a country built from the sweat and blood of slave and immigrant workforces… it appears to be very real to me.
Billy.. that muppet.. is nothing but smoke and mirrors; a diversion to real issues. America is circling the drain due to income inequality; they want the middle class to place the blame on the poor… WE ARE ALL THE POOR!
