I don’t understand why our Constitutional rights are not upheld within our court systems when involving police violence and misconduct. I also don’t understand why they are not adequately disciplined, or held accountable (if at all) for their behavior towards citizens when dealing with us. They seem to be above the law they took an oath to uphold. Why are the American people putting up with this brutality? There should be a national out-cry for justice, and police should be held MORE accountable for the decisions they make on the job! After all, are they not schooled for daily encounters with the public? Should they not be held to a greater level of responsibility? Respect is earned….it doesn’t come free!!
