The “Perceptions of Perfection” project was created by pharmacists to reflect the different beauty standards around the world. They hired photoshopped a stock image of one woman into the 18 different body types, adjusting everything from her waistline to her hair color.

WHOA WHOA WHOA….. reel in the inaccuracies here!!! First of all…. it wasn’t commissioned by pharmacists, it was commissioned by a PHARMACY. Superdrug to be specific. You wouldn’t say that pharmacists commissioned the ads that CVS run on TV.
Second… it wasn’t a survey of men AT ALL. It was a survey of female graphic designers.
System seems quite flaky this afternoon, and I suspect it is related to the latest aggressive ad. No interest in buying the product, and much less interest in visiting this website in the future. Needs to be a better economic model to drive the TYT’s good works. Unfortunately, my suggestion is always ignored, in various variations, so I won’t waste the keystrokes today. #MDFC
