Awkward Moments in Women’s Fashion (And How To Solve Them) – with Jayde Lovell and Bec Susan Gill
Styleogue NYC host Bec Susan Gill sits down with TYT’s resident science nerd Jayde Lovell to discuss the the most awkward moments in women’s fashion. Don’t worry ladies… these happen to the best of us… more times than we would like to admit! But now, we are here to trouble shoot for you.
Awkward Moment # 1: Wearing things to tight
Solution: It’s important to shop for the right size. Remember – if it doesn’t fit in the store – it’s never going to fit. Sadly, you aren’t going to grow into them.
Awkward Moment #2: Lipstick on your teeth
Solution: You need to first use lipliner, to stabilize your lipstick. Secondly, put your thumb (or other finger) in your mouth – this means that the surface area of your lip that comes into contact with your teeth will be free of lipstick.
Awkward Moment #3: Having your G-string showing
Solution: You may need to buy new underwear, as your g-string may be too stretched or just too big in the first place (hence why it is riding up!).
Or it may be that you are wearing a high-waisted thong with low-rise pants.
Secondly – another solution is – if you’re wearing g-strings because you don’t want a VPL – to just wear a different kind of underwear instead. You can avoid VPL’s by wearing boy shorts, because they cut under your buttcheek instead of across it – or you can wear no-show laser cut underwear. You could also do like the celebrities do and wear shape wear!
Awkward Moment #4: Wearing the same thing as someone else
Solution: Congratulate your fashion rival on their excellent taste, take a selfie together, then hashtag it as #twinsies
