Pete Rose was slapped with a lifetime ban from Major League Baseball after betting on the game while he was both a player and a manager. The all time hits leader would of been a sure fire Hall of Famer, but his gambling issues sent waves through the league. At the MLB All-Star Game in Cincinnati, he was able to take the field in front of his hometown crowd who welcomed him with a roar and standing ovation. The question know lies within sports in general, should a lifetime ban exist in every sport?
