True Detective season 2, episode 2, “Night Finds You” is reviewed. Is it possible True Detective killed its central character, Ray, in episode 2?! Evidence about bullet placement and trailer footage seem to point one way, but could it be a fakeout to the audience? Is it now glaringly obvious Paul Woodrugh is gay? Or does he have emotional trauma, as flashback scenes may suggest? Was this episode’s dialogue believable and strong in context?
