We’ve got some exciting news! This is the day– today we have a brand spanking new FREE app for the TYT community, this time for both iOS and Android! We created this for the TYT audience to interact directly with us and each other in awesome new ways! How, you ask? You can create your own videos, responses, reactions, polls, and more! The best part is that you can discuss the biggest news stories with us and other progressives around the world, and watch The Young Turks anytime, anywhere!

And to celebrate our first week, we’re throwing a contest to see who’s got what it takes to be a Young Turk. It’s super simple– just create a response video up to 15 seconds long for any news video this week, using the hashtag #TheNextYoungTurk. The best reactions you could win free TYT shirts and merchandise and the winner’s response will be featured across the entire app as…The Next Young Turk! Think you’ve got what it takes?   1. Upon following the link for Android I am getting a message stating “Item not found” please help! I’ve been a member for a while, and I can access the content through my phone using the website, but I have been looking forward to the app since I’m thinking it will be more streamlined and easier to use on the go. Thanks for all you guys do!

  2. Just signed up today…only to realize the app you guys have been promoting on the podcast isn’t even available on Android. Not cool guys. I LOVE the show and wanted the full experience. Please acknowledge and at least give a timetable?

  3. I’ve downloaded the app twice and neither times does the app even start. I’m just prompted with “Internet not connected” then the app closes.

  4. This app needs the following features:

    1. Stream directly from the app (screen sharing keeps me from using any other app.
    2. Ability to download content while on Wi-Fi so it can be viewed offline or without using data.

  7. Hmmm, seems like the app (according to the goggle play store) is not available in my country. Umm, this app isn’t available in the US? and Apple only has a CYT social networking app. Sooooo

  8. I also just signed up but am a bit confused as to why I can’t access any member content on either of the 2 TYT apps in the Google App store. It let me sign in with my facebook login, but won’t accept my newly created TYT member login.

    I’m hoping they have a better solution than loading the full website on my phone and accessing it that way…that would be really cheesy and would surprise me if they haven’t gotten this figured out yet…

    Bottom line is the paying members just need a simple guide on how we are supposed to access member content while on mobile.

  9. Just subscribed for the $10/month tier, but can’t sign in on the iOS app. Others have mentioned this and left negative reviews on the App store as well.

      2. So the an online content subscription service with millions of members doesn’t have an iPhone app that can show it’s content? WTF how is that possible? Get your act together c’mon!

  10. I can’t open the iOS app nor can I get in touch with anyone to learn what happened to the order I placed ages ago.

    I got a message when I sent an email to the address you site supplied that said: this is an invalid address do you want to send it anyway.

  11. I just switched from an Android to an IPhone 6s. I can’t figure out how to download archived shows onto my phone. I downloaded the TYT app,but nothing shows in it. I’ve tried working through iTunes, but still nothing. Nothing shows in my videos icon . .bla bla bla. I’ve searched and searched for a resolution. Can someone help. I’m able to “download” onto my laptop but nothing transfers even when I hook up my phone to my laptop.

  13. Hey – I just want to watch on YouTube and use iPhone podcast as no room for extra apps until phone upgrade next month plus I have that YouTube deal where I don’t have to be in YouTube to hear. Maybe I’ll figure it out – but I can’t do this in Firefox and won’t use safari right now. Just joined. Thx – love y’all

  15. Help! I am a paying member. At least I thought I was! Please let me know if there is a problem with my credit. I am unable to get the podcast tonight and I have followed all instructions to no avail! I am despondent! Please help. Send me an email, please

  16. I’ve got the app and it works fine. I can log in with my normal TYT login and watch videos during my commute. I am on Android though, it may be different for fanbois or Win-nuts.

  18. Would love to get the app (as well as other apps), but why does it require access to identity, files, camera, microphone, etc.? I’ll stick to the website for now til that changes.

  19. I downloaded this app not long ago and I’ve tried for over a week to log into it and it constantly tells me that I am using an invalid email address or password. I’ve changed my password 3 or 4 times with no success. I really would prefer to not have to change my email address. Can someone please assist me with this or direct me to a tech support email or phone number I can contact to get this checked out.

  21. Amazon and others stopped selling rebel flag merch. Two points, it’s a constriction to freedom of expression, and two, do you really want these people incognito?
