  1. John Iodarola,

Everything that is a threat is not necessarily a “Existential Threat.” However, if these events, [in several of your video’s] are causing you to question your existence, then I apologize, apparently it is indeed an existential threat and I withdraw my comment. Still, if you are truly troubled to the point of existential crisis, due to the perceived animosity of others, regarding your personal beliefs, might I suggest reading some books on existentialism. The books should, most assuredly will, change how you perceive the world around you, particularly the influence of others power and authority over you, to cause you to question your very existence.

    1. that’s not what existential threat means, dummy. There’s a thing called existential philosophy, but that’s not what is being referenced. When people say “existential threat” they mean a threat to the existence of some entity. Like when someone says something is an existential threat to the United States, that means they are claiming it threatens the very existence of the US.

  2. I am a Christian. Whether I am a good one or not could be debated. However, I have never feared atheist. In fact, my three best friends in the world are avowed atheist. I actually met them at a time when my faith was nearly broken and I like to say that it was three atheist that restored my faith. Which is in fact true.

I think that worrying about death is rather a waste of time. I try to worry about living life. It does hurt me deeply that my faith is portrayed the way it is by those would be spokesman who would use it for hating and hurting others and for political power. The dark ages never really go out of style do they.

Christ was about love and filling the world with love and I don’t think the world has truly come to understand just how powerful love is… They put saddles on dinosaurs and hate their fellowman, Jesus wept.

As I told my best friend and atheist when they asked me about if I truly believed they would go to hell when they die; Heaven could not claim to be heaven if you were not there and hell could not be what it claimed to be if you were in it.

Love… Why is the answer so rejected by my fellow Christians?

    1. Because most people are born into religion. Few come to religion deliberately as an adult. This means that every kind of person there is are included in the subgroup “religious”, including people who just want to help people and hateful, selfish, dick bags; Racists who want their religion to confirm their racism; homophobes who want their religion to confirm their homophobia. Religion doesn’t wash that away. You are either a giving, kind and loving person who happens to have programmed from childhood with the religion of your parents, or your a giving, kind, and loving person who never had any religion. Religion doesn’t make people more hateful or more kind. The religion part is secondary.
