Netflix’s Daredevil Episode 4 is reviewed by Alonso Duralde (TheWrap, Linoleum Knife), Francis Maxwell (TYT Sports, Styleogue) and William Bibbiani (Crave Movies, BMovies Podcast).
The man who’s name can’t be mentioned is featured heavily in the episode, as the audience gets their first real look at Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin. We see the tender/awkward side of Kingpin as he tries to seduce an art dealer, but ends up cutting their date short to handle some pressing business. At the same time, Matt Murdock has to don his mask to save Rosario Dawson’s character from pipe weilding Russians.
What do you think of Kingpin now that you’ve seen a softer side of him? Do you believe he is trying to really save New York from itself? Does the last scene reveal his true nature? Let us know in the comments section.
