“Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the only surviving suspect in the 2013 Boston Marathon Bombing, has finally received a verdict for the thirty or so charges against him; guilty on all counts. It took a court clerk over twenty minutes to read the entire guilty verdict. It took jurors a grand total of eleven hours before reaching the verdict, a relatively short amount of time for court proceedings. The next stage of the trial begins now where it is decided what the punishment for Tsarnaev’s crimes will be but many are expecting the death penalty.
The bombings resulted in three deaths and hundreds injured.”
