“An Afghan woman who was beaten to death by an angry mob for allegedly burning a Qur’an was innocent of the allegations, according to investigators. Her funeral was held on Sunday.
Hundreds of people came out in Kabul to lay 27-year-old Farkhunda to rest, the Associated Press reported.
Farkhunda’s coffin was carried by an all-female group of women’s rights activists, dressed entirely in black.” *

I think the point that is missing from this narrative is that under Islam you get points in heaven for killing an “infidel”. By modern western religious standards this act is immoral, but by Islamic standards it is not. I don’t agree with what IMHO are “crazy” religions, but throughout history, haven’t there always been killings in the name of what ever God people choose to worship, both Christian religions and non-Christian? Human nature and mob psychology is what is on trial here and I wonder how the religious Mullah’s can continue to rationalize this kind of behavior without overhauling their religion.
