Yvette Cormier went to use the locker room at a Planet Fitness gym and stopped in her tracks when she saw a man in the facilities. After many complaints both in person and through e-mail Planet Fitness decided to revoke her membership.

Planet Fitness replied “Planet Fitness is committed to creating a non-intimidating, welcoming environment for our members. Our gender identity non-discrimination policy states that members and guests may use all gym facilities based on their sincere self-reported gender identity.”
