Radar devices allowing police to see inside homes are being secretly given to officers in at least 50 U.S. law enforcement agencies. These agencies began deploying the radar systems, which detect movement through walls, more than two years ago. The warrantless use of this technology raises legal and privacy issues and Fourth Amendment questions. How has this gone unnoticed by the courts and public and is this invasive technology a violation of constitutional protections?
