Jabba the Hutt is easily the most impressive puppet from Return of the Jedi and perhaps the Star Wars original trilogy as a whole. Today, we would use CGI to make Jabba, but in the day, several puppeteers were stuffed into the practical effects puppet. One puppeteer– Tony Philpott- told his story in “Slimy Piece of Worm-Ridden Filth – Life Inside Jabba the Hutt.” Kim Horcher discusses with special guests Piotr Michael (Voice Actor, Impressionist) and Andy Riesmeyer (Dweebcast) discuss!
