Sometimes you’re baking cupcakes or something and drinking, and you run out of alcohol. So you think to yourself, “I wonder if I could get a drunk with vanilla extract?” The answer, apparently, is yes.

On Saturday night, police in Macedon, New York arrested a woman for driving erratically in the parking lot of the local Wal-Mart. The police said she was drunk on vanilla extract.

According to ABC News 7:

The woman apparently told police she had gotten lost on her way home.

A breathalyzer revealed the woman’s blood alcohol content was three times the legal limit.
