France has been developing new anti-terror law, in the wake of Charlie Hebdo, that will make Internet operators “accomplices” in hate speech for hosting extremist content. President Francois Hollande announced the law in an effort to “define a legal framework so that Internet platforms which manage social media be considered responsible, and that sanctions can be taken.” Should tech companies be sanctioned for being a home for extremist content.
