New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s relationship with Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has raised suspicion after Thursday night when Christie said that the first time he spoke with Jones was in the summer of 2013. However, Christie said last month that he had known Jones for the last five years while in June 2014 he said that he first spoke to the Texas billionaire in 2009. Why does Christie seem to be changing his answer to the question, and why does it matter? Jones owns part of a company that was given a Port Authority contract by New Jersey and New York in March 2013 bringing certain ethics concerns to light.
