Girls season 4, episode 2, “Triggering” is reviewed. Hannah goes to Iowa and parties it up with Elijah, bringing a bit of New York to the small community. Does Hannah fit in though, and is she really a privileged girl who likes to be abused? The other girls in New York have some funny moments, though this episode runs a bit long with most of the energy spent on Hannah in the writer’s workshop and her adventures of learning and mentoring in Iowa. Was the geographic split satisfying?
