“Sometimes one wrong click really can change your life.
Take the case of Jeffrey Sirois. At 3:30pm on the afternoon of September 25, 2014, the 57-year old soccer coach and grocery store owner unbuttoned his blue jeans. Sitting on the brown suede love seat in the living room of his Lebanon, Connecticut home, Sirois held his smartphone at arm’s length as he masturbated, recording a 10-second video clip of the act. Sirois sent the clip to his girlfriend, using the ephemeral messaging service Snapchat. He waited for confirmation that she opened the video on her own phone.” *

I love how the YT panel of three MEN automatically jump to Sirois’ defense and say “Meh, it could have happened to anyone; let’s give him a full pass,” simply because Sirois said it was an “accident” that he sent a video of him masturbating to his entire all-girls soccer team… on SNAPCHAT.
And then the YT panel (again, only MEN) had no problem completely discounting the girls who reported that their coach has always been “creepy” and “pervy,” because, hey, that’s what all girls say about all men (just ask Ben, the “weird” guy in the middle<–his admission, not my qualification).
*Thank you, JR, for being the ONLY reasonable and stand-up guy in this entire segment. And, no, you didn’t sound like a republican: Personal responsibility and accountability isn’t exactly a hallmark of the Republican Party.
And it would be great if the panel did a little research before filming their segments: Sirois WAS fired from his job and was re-arrested for “tampering with a witness.” Additionally, his original excuse of trying to send his masturbation video to his girlfriend because he’s married hasn’t held up under scrutiny. So, this panel might want to rethink their automatic defense of pedophiles and automatic dismissal of the victims (yes, the underage girls in this case are victims).
Additionally, the warrant for his arrests showed that the girls reported he has a tendency to make “inappropriate comments” about their breasts and buttocks. Before you defend this, too, if you’re a grown-ass man talking about a child’s breasts and arse, you might be a pedophile, and any backlash you get is well warranted.
P.S. I created an account just to leave this comment. DON'T defend pedophiles (or any sex offender, for that matter). People like you make my job that much harder.
