Cable cord cutters, listen up– you may soon get to enjoy your favorite cable channels you’ve been missing without the ridiculous monthly costs. For $20 a month, Dish Network will offer Sling TV– channels including ESPN, the Disney Channel, Food Network, HGTV, TNT, TBS and CNN, and Maker Studios (Youtube). According to their released screens, Cartoon Network, DIY Network, and ABC Family are also among the offerings. It’s not a la carte cable channels, but it’s a significantly cheaper way to get cable channels on demand. Why does this work? Hint: it has to do with young people.
