A time capsule buried by Sam Adams and Paul Revere was opened by Pamela Hatchfield, head of objects conservation at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. The time capsule is the oldest ever discovered in the country dating back to 1795 and was originally placed under a cornerstone of the Boston Statehouse. The contents of the capsule included miscellaneous coins, a newspaper and a silver plate containing information about the laying of the cornerstone box. We take a look at the discovery, in this Lip News clip with Jackie Koppell.
