Harvard Business School professor Ben Edelman was overcharged four dollars for his Chinese food takeout order and went to battle with the restaurant, Sichuan Garden, over the mixup. The owner of the family-owned business Ran Duan, explained via an email exchange with Edelman that the mistake was due to out-of-date menus. Edelman didn’t accept the excuse and continued to threaten the restaurant until eventually issuing an apology via his website.
