The family of Tamir Rice have filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the city of Cleveland and two police officers involved in the shooting of the 12-year-old boy. Responding to a call of someone with a weapon, Officer Frank Garmbac was driving the cruiser while Officer Timothy Loehmann shot Rice and killed him, as the boy played with a toy gun at the park near his home. Attorney Benjamin Crump, who also was counsel for the families of Michael Brown and Trayvon Martin, is representing Tamir’s mother, Samaria Rice in the matter. We discuss the suit on the Lip News with Jackie Koppell and Gabriel Mizrahi.
