Barbie gets criticized for being “too perfect,” but designer Nickolay Lamm is looking to change that. His “normal” Barbie has the proportions of the average 19-year-old woman, plus it comes with removable stickers that can give her cellulite, acne, stretch marks, cuts, and tattoos. Lamm said he wanted to make a doll that would embody a girl’s normal experiences. Is this creating a positive body image for girls, and how does it compare to the image of regular Barbie?
