Men should be manly and rugged and women should be feminine and dainty – or at least that seems to be the modern-day view of physical attractiveness. But turns out that view applies only to the modern day, and is largely centered in certain areas of the country. Find out which places are more likely to want macho men and girly women, according to new research.

  1. I find I like women who are true to themselves, whether that makes them ultra-feminine, tomboyish, or something else entirely. I have a special place in my heart for gals that don’t follow expectation – provocateurs, nerdy, geeky, artsy, rebellious. Femininity isn’t meek, it’s another flavor of power. And it’s a damn nice one, too. =)
