“A new ad from the political action committee NextGen Climate features narration from Woody Harrelson and the direction of Darren Aronofsky, adding some star power to billionaire activist Tom Steyer’s election efforts.

The ad, released Tuesday, is a general call for voters to cast their ballots next week for politicians who endorse action on climate change. It doesn’t much resemble Aronofsky’s previous works like Requiem for a Dream or Black Swan. Harrelson’s narration links current political denial of climate change to previous efforts to downplay scientific findings like the world being round and tobacco smoke being dangerous to health.
