“Judy Melinek, one of the forensic experts who was quoted by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch on Tuesday about the Michael Brown autopsy report, is taking issue with how the newspaper portrayed her comments.
The key piece of Melinek’s analysis, according to the Post-Dispatch’s original report, was that the report of Brown’s autopsy ‘supports the fact that this guy is reaching for the gun, if he has gunpowder particulate material in the wound. If he has his hand near the gun when it goes off, he’s going for the officer’s gun.’” *

its apperant that micheal brown is going to be villified in this story by the local media due to racial differences. in my honest opinion, the hand wound is a defensive action wound. i mean its a primal instinct to deflect or block, even against a fire arm. the question is, did he put his hands up before or after the first shot? if i was just shot in the hand, the last thing i would do is put my hands up in a surrendering position. i would be holding my hand and screaming bloody murder. but i wasnt there and i have never been shot in the hand, so what do i know, right?
It was hard to pay attention to the story because I kept thinking about this.

There were multiple people that witnessed Brown with his hands up getting shot in the head. The doctoring and spin of evidence is evidently becoming a police tradition.
It’s apparent the media is trying to taint a jury in the future.
