First off, I’m becoming a bigger and bigger fan of yours.
Regarding the questions:
1) Let’s say the money is coming from outright murderers and thieves. Now, you take their money, and are doing good with it, right? But, by taking thier money, you’re promoting or condoning their activities. People would say: how much bad had to pass, for the good it brought about…etc. Now, JD does have some particularly rough porn scenes. But they’re all consentual, and it’s just porn, getting into 2.
2) It’s too complicated, to get into briefly. But, much of the stigma, formed during the victorian era.
But, I think it’s had many adverse effects. Kids really aren’t educated, concerning sex. They have a few classes, during which, mostly just chuckle and make jokes, because the content was forbidden, prior to this. They don’t take the info seriously, and parents aren’t experts on teaching it…simply because they’ve had sex.
A single mother catches her son enjoying himself, and says; “you keep doing that, you’ll go blind.”
She’s not properly educated, to teach these matters. So, we end up with, the blind, leading the blind; as the kid becomes his only teacher lol.
I’ll stop there, but we should be more open, about sex. Kids are prohibited from entertaining these ideals, until they start getting urges. By then, they just educate themselves. There aren’t even classes for adults lol. Sex is even taboo, amongst grown adults lol.
The shame element is weird, you’re right.
I don’t have any answers to your questions but I have one instead:
Why did James Deen feel it necessary to be public about his donations, why not give anonymously like a normal person without having to put your name on it?
Look at me, I’m a good person ! I love that people give to charity but it takes away a little when you have to tell the world you do.
