1. How old are you and what state do you live in?

Older than new dirt.  Living in Illinois

2. When did you become a member of TYT?  

You may have a better answer than me on this one… I became a member a number of years ago when memberships started to be sold.  Air America days…

3. How do you consume the show?

Podcasts – convenient to do on my time.

4. What field do you work in?  

Just retired from a career in CPA’ing and commercial real estate.  Take my word for it. retirement beats the hell out of working.

5. How would you describe TYT in 5 words or less?

A desperately needed perspective.  Five.

6. Do you have a favorite TYT moment?

1. When I became a member.  2. When I was asked to answer these questions.

7. Who is your favorite co-host? Why?  

Ben – the chemistry between Ben and Cenk is terrific.

8. What motivated you to take the extra step of becoming a paying member?

Doing what I could do to support TYT in getting off of the ground.

9. Are surprised that the The Young Turks has grown into a multiplatform network of multiple channels?

No.  They speak to a “silent majority”.

10. Cenk often talks about the TYT brand as “truth telling.” What does this mean to you as a member?   

It means you are not afraid to criticize those whom you support and largely agree with, despite the consequences that may arise from that criticism.

11. Which TYT host would you get coffee with? Which one would you go to the bar with? Who would you have dinner with?

Cenk in all cases.

12. If you were a co-host on the show, which story would you cover? Why?

The Stanley Cup.  I would cover this because Cenk covers everything else so well, but is a complete ignoramus when it comes to the best sport… ice hockey.  Just keeping it real.

13. Have you ever communicated with other TYT fans? If so, how?  

Nope.

14. Has the show convinced you to change your position on a particular issue?

Yes – on a number of issues.  One should not be afraid to confront a different reality when the facts dictate it.  As in “Mission Accomplished”.

15. Have you ever referred membership to anyone? If so, what did you say?

Yes… just watch or listen for a while.
