The Flash pilot made its network TV premiere on the CW, spinning off from the hit show, Arrow. Grant Gustin stars as Barry Allen as he becomes a superhero in a world that might not allow it. It’s a light-hearted and playful take on the superhero show, and may be a great surprise for Flash comic fans. Where is the series going, and will the tone carry it toward Smallville, Arrow, or maybe Gotham? Will classic Flash villains like Captain Cold and Professor Zoom appear as “villains of the week,” or carry major arcs?
