Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) gave a noncommittal shrug when asked if he might ever rethink his position on gay marriage. “I believe in old-fashioned traditional marriage but I don’t really think the government needs to be too involved in this and I think the Republican Party can have people on both sides of the issue,” Paul told CNN when asked in South Carolina if the GOP could win going forward considering most younger voters support gay marriage.
