The drug war claims another victim in the form of a 19 month old boy who was injured and disfigured at the hands of a police officer who inadvertently threw a grenade into the child’s playpen during a no-knock raid. A 23 person grand jury found the police not guilty of any wrongdoing during the raid, and the county refuses to pay the child’s medical bills.
