A study found that Valve’s Portal 2 may be better for improving cognitive skills than “brain training” games like Lumosity. Psychology of education researchers at Florida State University tested groups who played both games for a set amount of time and found Portal 2 players showed more improvement in a few different standard cognitive skill tests than Lumosity players.
